TorBox Pricing 2026: Plans, Limits and Cost per Day

As of November 2026 TorBox sells three paid plans at $3, $5 and $10 per month, plus a limited free tier. Here is what each one includes and which one fits.

Last updated Reviewed November 2026

Short answer: Essential at $3 is the plan most people need. Standard at $5 adds slots and longer seeding. Pro at $10 is for heavy or multi-device use. Prices are monthly list prices in USD as of November 2026.

Monthly list prices in USD, checked November 2026. Longer terms: see current price at checkout. The bonus is extra days on the first purchase of each account, not a discount.

What each tier is for

  • Free ($0): one slot, 10 GB per download, 250 Mbps, no seeding, 10 downloads a month and no web downloads. It is a way to look around, not to rely on.
  • Essential ($3): 3 slots, 200 GB per download, 1 Gbps, 24 hours of seeding and 300 GB of storage.
  • Standard ($5): 5 slots, 200 GB per download, 1 Gbps, 14 days of seeding and 500 GB of storage.
  • Pro ($10): 10 slots, 1 TB per download, 80 Gbps, 30 days of seeding, 1 TB of storage, unlimited RSS and Usenet, and access to the TorBox News Server.

Note that Essential and Standard share the same per-download cap and speed. What you pay the extra $2 for is two more slots, longer seeding and 200 GB more storage. If none of those matter to you, Standard buys nothing.

What a “slot” means for your bill

A slot is one active transfer at a time. With 3 slots you can have three torrents or downloads running together. Cached items that are already on TorBox’s servers finish almost instantly, so slots rarely feel tight for casual use. They matter if you run automation such as RSS feeds or several tools at once. Slots count transfers, not people or devices: 3 slots means three transfers at once, not three users. Cached items do not use a slot, extra items wait in a queue, and a download with no progress for 2 days is removed. TorBox’s Help Center says it does not track IP or cap logged-in devices and applies a fair share policy; its abuse-system article lists mass account sharing as flaggable, so sharing one account between households can lead to restrictions. Other services’ concurrency limits are not confirmed (see the table below).

The cost per day, with your bonus

You get 7 extra days for every month you buy, on your first purchase, when you use our link. The effect on cost per day does not depend on the plan price. Three months is 90 days plus 21 bonus days, which is 111 days of service for the price of 90. That is about 23 percent more time, or roughly 19 percent less per day.

At the monthly list price, using a 30-day month as a rough guide:

PlanPer day, no bonusPer day, with bonus
Essentialabout $0.100about $0.081
Standardabout $0.167about $0.135
Proabout $0.333about $0.270

This is a simplification. It assumes a longer term costs the same per month as a monthly plan, which may not hold, because longer terms can be priced differently. TorBox shows its 3, 6 and 12 month prices only after login, so I have not published them. Look at the checkout page and divide by the days you actually get.

The bonus counts only on a first paid purchase. A 24-hour trial or a voucher does not trigger it, and support will not add it afterwards. The how the bonus works page covers the conditions, including the popup you must confirm.

Claim 84 bonus days with a year (opens TorBox in a new tab, affiliate link)

Works on the first purchase of each account only. Renewals and later purchases do not earn it.

Best value: start with a year. Because the bonus only applies to the first purchase of each account, a longer first term earns more bonus days in total: 12 months gives 84 days, 6 months 42, 3 months 21. The rate is the same (7 days per 30, about 23 percent), so it is not a bigger percentage and not a promised lower price. Check the current price at checkout, since longer terms may be priced lower. A year is only worth it if you are sure you will use it.

Things the price does not tell you

  • Fair-use thresholds. TorBox publishes monthly traffic floors under which you should never be flagged: Free 5 TB, Essential 10 TB, Standard 20 TB, Pro 30 TB, measured over a rolling 15 days. Normal personal use sits far below them.
  • Taxes. Prices are shown pre-tax. VAT or sales tax can be added depending on where you live.
  • Refunds. Billing mistakes such as forgetting to cancel, or paying while time remains, are not refunded, and bans for policy violations are not refunded either.
  • No official mobile app. You use the web interface, a third-party app or a bot.

A worked example in dollars

Take three months of Essential, bought through our link as a first purchase. You get 21 extra days. At the monthly list price of $3 per 30 days, one day is $0.10, so the bonus is worth about $2.10. That figure is an estimate computed from the monthly price (days x price / 30), not a TorBox number, and it assumes a 3 month term is priced like three monthly payments. If the checkout price for three months is lower, the bonus is worth proportionally less in dollars, though you still get the 21 days.

The same arithmetic on the other plans, for three months and 21 bonus days:

PlanBonus daysEstimated value of the bonus
Essential21about $2.10
Standard21about $3.50
Pro21about $7.00

All three are estimates from monthly list prices. The bonus is extra time on your account, so it is not paid out and has no cash value.

How the monthly prices compare with other services

Pricing makes more sense next to the alternatives. These figures come from the services’ own pricing pages where they could be read, and otherwise from secondary comparison sources, so verify them live before you pay. The rows are in euro except TorBox, and no currency conversion has been done.

Service Entry priceNoteSimultaneous downloadsDevices or IPs at once
TorBox Essential $3 per month Torrents, web downloads, Usenet on paid plans 3 slots (Essential), 5, 10; cached files use none No cap per Help Center, fair share
AllDebrid EUR 2.99 per 30 days (recurring) EUR 3.99 as a one-time purchase Not confirmed Not confirmed
Real-Debrid About EUR 4 per 30 days Secondary sources only, the site blocks bots Not published Terms: sharing = suspension, IPs reportedly watched
Debrid-Link EUR 4 per 30 days Longer terms are cheaper per day Not confirmed Not confirmed
Premiumize EUR 9.99 per month Includes 1 TB and Usenet Not confirmed Not confirmed

Price is only one axis. Feature differences such as Usenet, WebDAV and storage are covered in the comparison pages and in the best debrid services roundup, and the closest match for most readers is the TorBox against Real-Debrid page.

Moving between plans

Start small. Essential costs $3, so a month on it tells you which limit you actually meet. The signals are specific:

  • A transfer waits in the queue: you are out of slots, consider Standard.
  • You want torrents to keep seeding for days rather than hours: Standard or Pro.
  • A single download is refused for size: that is the 200 GB cap, and only Pro lifts it.
  • Storage fills up before you clear it: Standard gives 500 GB, Pro gives 1 TB.

If you stay on Pro and never come near any of those, you are overpaying by $5 or $7 a month, so step down at the next renewal. The exact steps for changing plans are in your account, and I have not verified how TorBox handles the unused time of a plan you leave, so check before switching mid-term. The bonus days are applied once, on your first purchase, so they are no reason to prefer one plan over another.

Choosing quickly

  • One person, a few downloads, a media app on the side: Essential.
  • You run RSS automation, keep seeding for ratio reasons, or share with family: Standard.
  • You regularly move files above 200 GB, want a very fast link or heavy Usenet: Pro.

If you are unsure, start on Essential. You can move up when a limit actually bites, and you will know which one it was. For a wider look at the service see the TorBox review, and for what the service does at all read what TorBox is.

Frequently asked questions

How much does TorBox cost per month?

As of November 2026 the monthly list prices are Essential $3, Standard $5 and Pro $10, in USD. A free plan exists but is heavily limited. Tax may be added at checkout depending on your country.

Is there a cheaper price for 3, 6 or 12 months?

TorBox offers longer terms, but the exact prices are only shown after you log in, so this site does not publish them. Check the price at checkout. The bonus is the same 7 days per month purchased on any term, on the first purchase of each account only.

Does our link give a discount?

No. It adds extra time, not a lower price: 7 extra days per month purchased for you, on the first purchase of each account only. Three months buys 21 extra days.

Which TorBox plan should I pick?

Essential covers most single-person use. Choose Standard if you need 5 slots or longer seeding, and Pro only if you need 10 slots, 1 TB downloads, very high speed or the TorBox News Server.

Can I pay with PayPal or crypto?

Yes. TorBox accepts cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cryptocurrency and Patreon, though some methods are one-time only. See the payments page for the detail.

Does TorBox charge in dollars?

Yes, all prices are in USD or the equivalent in your payment method. Your bank or wallet may add a currency conversion fee.

Which term should I pick for my first purchase?

If you are sure you will use TorBox for a year, pick 12 months. Only the first purchase on an account earns the bonus, and 12 months is the only term that earns the full 84 bonus days (21 for 3 months, 42 for 6). The rate is the same at every term, 7 days for every 30, and renewals do not earn it. See the current price at checkout.
